Join us for classes at Q that will help you improve your sewing while jazzing up your home and yourself! Sew Simple classes are just that – easy classes that anyone can take! Most classes will see you leaving with a finished project. Sew Much Fun classes are intermediate to advanced and focus on techniques.

All classes will meet from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM, unless otherwise noted below. If you have questions about any of these classes, call the shop for more details! Sign up soon – these classes will be kept small so everyone can enjoy plenty of personal attention.

Tuesday, 2/21 & 2/28, T-shirt Quilts (2 session class) with Cora, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, $40
Everybody's asking for this class, so here it is! Take this 2-session class and learn the right way to construct a quilt from your family's favorite shirts. Perfect for soon-to-be grads and athletes, sorority/fraternity members, 5K runners . . . just about anyone! Sew Much Fun

Monday, 3/5 & 3/12 Beginner Charm Quilt on Point (2-session class) with Lin, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, $40
If you've already made our 9-patch for Beginners, this is Sophomore Year! If you haven't, you can still join us for this class that teaches you the basics of how to put a quilt together with setting triangles. Sew Much Fun

Monday, 4/2 & 4/9 (2-session class) 9-Patch for Beginners with Lin, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, $40
The perfect class for anyone who wants to start something brand-new, or for anyone who wants to be more confident in cutting and piecing a small quilt. Choose baby fabrics, holiday or theme, or anything in between for a lap-sized throw you'll be proud to say you made!

Tuesday, 4/10 Coasters with Lin, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, $20
So easy, but so impressive! Make your own coasters to match your décor (or your placemats!) with Lin's simple techniques. Square or round, you'll enjoy them all!

Tuesday, 4/17 Piped Pillows with Lin, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, $20
Learn to make piping that's perfect every time in this great class. Create a small pillow in class that you can toss on a bed or couch, or give as a gift to that special someone!

Saturday, 3/24 Potato Chip Quilts with Laura, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, $20
No one can make just one of these simple strip quilts. Explore color and concentrate on a particular collection, or use a Bali Pop as a starting point - it doesn't matter what you choose, these quilts are fast, fun, and unique! Beginner Friendly

Ongoing Classes:
Saturday, 3/10  Pat's Promise 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, $75
Join Pat to make this beautiful quilt in six lessons (through June), or choose to make only parts of the whole into wallhangings or the center for another project. January - beehive; February - birdbath; March - birds-n-blooms (bottom row); April - birdhouses; May - tree & nest; June - center panel. If you want to make the whole quilt, you can choose to pay in two $400 payments and save $50!

Something New: Come and Go Sew!
Come in for a day of the most fun part - the sewing - while leaving all the cutting to us! We're offering four quilt-top choices in kits that are pre-cut for you. All you do is show up. Machines threaded and ready to go, irons hot, easy-to-follow directions waiting at your assigned spot - what could be easier? Saturday classes are four hours, Monday nights are 2 sessions, 2 hours each. Price includes pattern, thread, all the fabric for a large lap quilt top. Super Beginner Friendly - no previous sewing experience required! Choose the batik, Rouenneries (red), Kaffe (purple), or black-and-white kit. $85 includes all fabric for top. Monday classes are 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and meet twice. Saturday classes are one session from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday, 3/17; Monday, 3/19 & 3/26; Saturday, 3/31.

Something Else New: GO Club and GO (Night) Club!
Cora's got a club up her sleeve (see, you should never play poker with her!) that's sure to be fun, fast, and addictive! Join her each month on the last Thursday (from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM or for you "nightclubbers", 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) and make a block that you can turn into a small monthly wallhanging or save up for a sampler quilt. The $25 monthly fee includes fabric, use of our store dies and cutters, and instruction! 3/29, 4/26, 5/31, 6/28, future dates TBA.

Make Your Own Class!
Is there something you want to do that's not on our list? Well, you can make your own class! Even if it's just you by yourself, even if it's a project you started years ago and need help to finish, Elise is here to help you! When you call for info, we'll give you her e-mail address, and the two of you will set up your own private session at Q, using our machines and cutting tables. Minimum one hour. Class fee is $10/hour. You must pay in advance for one hour and no refunds will be given on this class since we will still need to pay Elise for her time. Get started on that dream project now!
